Four Pointers For Staying Fertile

A safe and inexpensive method of overcoming infertility is to adopt a lifestyle that promotes natural fertility. The way you live your life and what you eat may greatly affect or enhance fertility: the likelihood that you can conceive a child.

1) Join a fertility organization.
There are women who experience a lot of emotional stress especially when they are unable to become pregnant despite several attempts at conception. Do your best to stay optimistic and hopeful while fighting depression. Having a positive attitude increases your chances of  becoming pregnant. For moral support, join a fertility organization that concentrates on the biological health of its members. Members of this group can learn about strategies on enhancing fertility while managing anxiety and stress related to natural fertility.

2) Exercise regularly.
Fertility studies show that lack of physical activity in the reproductive system speeds up the aging of the ovaries. This will leave the reproductive tract dry, reducing the chances for conceiving a child, even if the woman goes under in vitro fertilization. Basic daily exercise can be as simple as a 30 to 45-minute walk. If your physician approves and your body can handle it, walk longer distances in longer periods of time. Walking is good for preventing diseases that can lead to infertility like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.

Cardiovascular exercises will help keep your body weight stable and maximize your likelihood of bearing a child through natural methods of conception. This is also good for your reproductive system since it improves your general circulation

3) Take supplements for minerals and vitamins.
In natural fertility, a balanced and healthy diet gives pregnant women the nutrients they require. Most specialists also recommend supplements such as vitamins and minerals for both women who want to bear a child and women who are already conceiving a child.

Women who are vegans or lactose intolerant need to drink plenty of calcium every day (around 600 mg). Vitamin D is rare in most foods, so it is advisable to take this supplement daily. Women must note that this natural fertility method is not an alternative to food, and too much Vitamin A may actually be bad for the baby.

4) Stop drinking liquor or smoking.
In Denmark, scientists researching fertility issues have discovered that women (particularly those who are 30 years of age and older) who ingest as much as six glasses of liquor for seven days can become infertile. Drinking and smoking will counter the effects of natural fertility, and may cause pregnancy related issues as well as birth defects.
